Hear your braking points

Audio braking cues on the comparison overlay. FlyLap can now beep you into every braking zone – two countdown beeps then a final beep right at the reference's braking point. The beeps are spaced by time (about a second apart), worked out from the reference's approach speed, so the rhythm feels the same whether you're braking from 300 or 100 km/h. A single, distinct beep marks where to get back on the throttle.
Pitch tells you how hard to brake. The beep's pitch tracks the reference's peak brake pressure – low for a light lift, high for a heavy stop – so you know what's coming before you reach the corner. Turn it on in the overlay's Audio cues settings, with a volume slider.
Import laps iRacing flagged for track limits. When you load a reference straight from an iRacing .ibt file, FlyLap now keeps laps that were invalidated for a minor off – handy when your best clean-enough lap got dinged. The automatic background sync stays strict.

Coach locally & offline, plus ABS & clearer inputs

Run the AI Coach on your own PC – free and private. A new local Ollama provider lets analyses run on your own GPU with no API key and no per-analysis cost. Point FlyLap at a running Ollama in Settings → AI provider and pick one of your installed models. Use a capable instruct model (8B+), and raise Ollama's context length – a coaching prompt is long, and the default 4 096 tokens truncates it (the settings page now spells this out).
Generate and read reports with iRacing closed. The session bar's combo chip is now a picker – choose any track & car from your saved laps and references, and the coach analyses or reopens past reports with no live session running. When iRacing is connected it still follows your live combo automatically.
See where ABS kicks in. The input-telemetry overlay now highlights your brake trace in yellow where ABS engages, so you can spot exactly where you're leaning on it.
Clearer live inputs. The on-screen input telemetry got a visual refresh so your pedal and steering inputs read more clearly at a glance.
New default model: GLM 5.2. Added to the OpenRouter picker and set as the default – strong analyses at roughly $0.03 a report. Your saved model choice is untouched; change it any time in Settings.

AI Coach: free models & honest corner deltas

Coaching can now cost nothing. The model picker lists OpenRouter's best free models alongside the premium ones – discovered live and ranked for coaching, so the list stays current as OpenRouter's free roster changes. Pick one and reports are free; premium models still pay-as-you-go.
Fixed: wild per-corner time deltas in AI reports. When your lap and the reference were stored at different resolutions (live-captured or .ibt laps vs older references), the report could claim you lost or gained several seconds in a single corner. Corner times are now computed correctly and always add up to the real lap delta. Re-run an analysis to get corrected numbers – old reports keep the wrong ones.
Fixed: steering smoothness comparison. The same resolution mismatch could make your inputs look far smoother (or twitchier) than they were; it now compares like for like.

Load a reference straight from an iRacing .ibt

Import an .ibt as a reference lap. Alongside Garage 61 CSV, you can now drop in an iRacing telemetry file (.ibt) as your reference – ideal when your setup shop ships a fast lap as an .ibt rather than a CSV.
The best lap is picked for you. An .ibt holds a whole session, so FlyLap automatically selects the fastest clean, complete lap in the file and turns that into your reference. Corner zones are auto-detected, exactly like a CSV import.
Same one-click flow. Import lives where it always has – the reference picker in the session bar. The button now reads "Import reference (CSV or .ibt)" and takes either format.

Reliability & reporting

Usage & error reporting fixed. Anonymous, EU-hosted diagnostics now actually report, so crashes and rough edges get spotted and fixed far sooner. Never any personal data – and you can switch it off in settings.
Smoother download page. The download now starts on its own when you land on the page.

First public installer

A proper Windows installer. Per-user install with no admin prompt. Updating later is just running the newer installer over the top.
Your data survives updates. Overlay positions, settings, references and laps now live in your user profile, so they carry across updates and are left in place if you uninstall.
Versioned downloads. Each release has its own immutable installer link, so you always get exactly the build you asked for.
